We had an excellent first meeting for the school year with 15 members strong. We discussed the goals of the club and enjoyed some treats. We have a new leadership team: Heath, Trey, Josh, and Dirk. Although a number of members were interested in the positions, we could only select four. Members recommended several web pages for free anime since the Operation Anime site has been closed: Anime Freak and Watch Cartoons Online Anime List. The leadership team will meet to discuss student management of the manga collection: maintenance, shelving, and creating lists of series to consider purchasing. The members are serious fans of all things manga and anime. This is going to be a great year!
